Style Zodiac: HAVAIANAS FASHION SHOOT

Last Monday, Havaianas invited us to witness the behind-the-scenes of this year's most exciting summer photoshoot. Havaianas put together a scrapbooking-themed set-up for the fashion photoshoot-- from the scrapbook invites, colorful prints and patterns, paper cutouts and shabby chic decor.

Here's the invitation I got that I showed you guys before :)

I got shy for a while when I saw my photo, I did not expect this to be here :))

They also sent me a pair of Havaianas isn't it great? :)

The first pair of Havaianas was made in 1962. These were based on the design of the Japanese Zori, a type of sandal created using fabric straps and rice straw soles. Because of this, Havaianas all have a textured rice pattern around the soles. In the 1990s, the sandals began gathering popularity. Brazilian television stars appeared in commercials and the brand's colorful magazine ads. The Havaianas brand continued to grow throughout the 1990s, with more colors as well as an expanded line. Through the year 2000, the popularity of Havaianas was spreading abroad. Now, Havaianas footwear is sold in more that 60 countries and comes in a wide spectrum of colours.
