Hello! Pat here!
I just had the most incredible vacation! As some of my facebook friends have known, I was in Europe for the last 10 days.
I just had the most incredible vacation! As some of my facebook friends have known, I was in Europe for the last 10 days.
Now I'm not going to spoil everything so I'm just going to leave you with hints of my future blog posts
5 tops, 1 dress, 2 jackets, 1 blazer, 1 cardigan, 4 bottoms, 3 pairs of shoes
Now if you were to ask me if these were the clothes I brought to my trip, the answer is well, obviously YES. Knowing how the weather can potentially kill me, I brought 2 scarves and gloves as well. But that's it. These may be enough for others but for me, these just don't cut out.
Thankfully, and with the most comforting sigh, all the garments I brought with me were really simple, minimalist, the classics. I tried to blend in if you know what I mean. I didn't want to get anyone's (particularly pickpockets, I know they were out there somewhere) attention.
On the subject of mixing and matching, there were hard times - really hard times wherein I wore almost the same outfit 2 days apart because of the colors I used. Kill me now. Some clothes I have repeated yes; I don't mind repeats (unlike before) but one should not repeat the whole outfit. But then again, Black Skinny Jeans will always be our bestfriend and with that, any top can turn into magic.
Some more hints? hmm. Just watch out for my Travel Styling Challenge instead, starting with 1/10 tomorrow. =)
oh, here's a photo from 1/10:
